Child Care Experience
From November 2021 to present, I have been taking care of Kadir (11 months old) for four hours, two days a week. I help with feeding, playing, reading, and changing diapers. From July to September 2020, I took care of Zeynep (1) for five hours, five days a week. I prepared meals, did laundry, played, read books, changed diapers and helped with potty training. From June 2019 to June 2020, I babysat Mert (2) for four hours, five days a week. I prepared meals, did laundry, played and did activities with the child. From March to June 2021, I babysat Nil (2) for 5 hours, five days a week. I prepared meals, played, sang and danced with the child.

From January 2020 to September 2023, I cared for Carmela (1). I prepared her to go to the garden, I looked at her and I prepared her lunches. I put her also in bed to take her naps. Since August 2023, I'm working with 22 children aged between 1 and 2 years old. I clean them, give them lunch and I organize and guide them in their daily activities. Since January, I'm taking care of Sara (3 months). I feed her and I make her sleep.

I want to participate in the program because since I was little I have been interested in American culture, its customs and way of life. I also consider it an opportunity to improve my English. I decided to do this experience as AUPAIR because it will be enriching in many ways for my life. Firstly, I love children, I love learning from their simplicity and spontaneity, they are very funny, and I consider myself capable and responsible for their good care. From 05/2022 to 09/2022 I cared for Rana (5) for 8 hours a day, 3 days a week. My duties included preparing meals, outdoor activities, reading, drawing pictures, and educational activities. From 10/2023 to 01/2024 I cared for Cagan (8) and Calen (8) for 2 hours a day, 3 days a week. I would tidy his room, put him to sleep and sing to him.

Since I love children and babies and enjoy spending time with them, I also want to go to this program for the experiences I will add to myself. From April to May 2023, I took care of Niu (5) and Rui (3). I woke the children, helped put on their school uniform, sent the children to school, accompanied the children to participate in interest classes, helped with homework and played with the children. From August 2022 to January 2023, I took care of 8 children from 4 to 5 years of age. I maintained classroom order, taught English, played games, read picture books, chatted and answered the children's questions. From March to May 2022, I took care of Hattie (15 months) for eighteen hours a week. I took care of the baby when she was walking, sang and talked with the baby, played, prepared baby food, gave baths and changed diapers.

I hope I can experience the authentic American life and improve my oral English through this program. Besides, I have rich experience in teaching children and enjoy playing with them. It is very meaningful to spread Chinese culture in this process. First of all, my English ability can communicate normally. Secondly, I have driving, swimming and other skills. Since I was very young I was interested in other babies, I wanted to take care of them because I saw them very fragile and tender, children have always been a source of inspiration which has allowed me to develop a sense of protection and love always wanting to take care of them and ensure their welfare. This charisma motivated me to become a member of a non-profit foundation whose purpose is to bring smiles and joy to low-income children through charitable activities. These experiences have allowed me to grow as a human being, with a certain nobility inspired by the innocence and tenderness of children as well as to develop a sense of responsibility, honesty and brotherhood.

From May to September 2017, I had an internship at a social center taking care of children with mental and physical disabilities ages 12 to 18 years old. Because I was there 4 years ago for the summer work and travel program, it was a wonderful experience, I got to know a little bit of the culture and I'm sure I still have a lot of things to know, I want to improve my English and two I like travel.
